“Empty Spaces” is a collection of 12 moving drawings that interact with the same grid. The rules that were set by the grid are taken both as a limitation and as a fertile ground for new rules to be built upon them. Some moving drawings follow the rules more strictly and interact with all parts of the grid, and other moving drawings are less obedient and take more liberty to follow certain rules while dismissing others.
