Logline:When a curious raven explores a neglected skatepark, an encounter with the skatepark-spirit leaves a mark on it for good.
The brief was to create a film about a location in Jerusalem.
I chose the sacherpark, a place that used to be a center for skaters and rollerbladers to hang and skate.
The place is unfortunately abandoned, which was the starting point for a fairytale I wrote about a mischeveous raven that is too curious and pays for it.
Concept Art
When we were visiting the place, there would always - always - be a puddle of water at the bottom of the ramp and I decided to use this water as a portal, where the raven gets sucked into the world of the spirit.
